This book presents the research results that identify and measure the digital security index of 116 cyber media companies in Indonesia, based on three main aspects: experiences related to digital attacks, security practices, and perceptions of digital security. The research findings indicate that the overall digital security index score is 19.71 out of a maximum value of 31, which reflects a poor condition. Digital security practices only achieved a score of 5.03 out of a maximum of 11, highlighting a lack of attention to important security aspects such as the existence of standard operating procedures for handling attacks, digital security practices, employee education, and security audits.
This book also provides strategic recommendations to enhance digital security practices through five key steps, including training for all employees and conducting security audits. By implementing these measures, media companies can strengthen their resilience against ever-evolving digital threats.
